Luna & Simone, located not far from Victoria Station on staid Belgrave Road, is a perfectly nice hotel with decent nightly rates and extremely personable proprietors.
The hotel’s 36 rooms are cut from an identikit model: flan-colored walls, blue carpet, blue-and-gold-vine pattern bedspreads. Bathrooms are tiled and simple. Many rooms have small desks, and we thought the bedside lamps were quite attractive. Unlike many hotels in this price range in more touristy neighborhoods, Luna & Simone offers rooms of a decent size, even big enough for morning calisthenics!
Luna & Simone is a great pick for those seeking a friendly hotel near a public transportation hub, yet in a relatively quiet corner of central London.
